Intaglio Prints
During my time studying in Florence Italy I gained a love of historical plate engraving. This type of engraving dates back to the early 16th century. Using the original hand push burin techniques I have tried to combine designs both original and contempory. I have also combined various techniques of printmaking to enhance the plates overal effect. These prints are very limited in number as I print everyone myself on heavy cotton paper. I sequentially number each print with number 1 in my private collection.
